In the context of our complex era, traditional linear problem-solving strategies often fail to address underlying challenges, inadvertently setting the stage for future issues. This necessitates a shift towards a non-linear, Systemic Design approach, which leverages scientific principles to navigate complexity, fostering the creation of resilient and regenerative systems.

This session aims to delve into the application of Systemic Design in scenarios of crisis and disruption, with a particular focus on the aftermath of terror attacks. Prof. Tobias Luthe will initiate the conversation by outlining the fundamental principles of Systemic Design. Following this, a panel comprising Architect Merav Morad, Dr. Arie Levy, and Architect Sharon Golan will discuss its potential to rejuvenate both urban and rural communities, with a special emphasis on the often-neglected social aspects.
