בסיור זה נתבונן בתהליכי ההתחדשות המואצים המתרחשים בעיר. ההריסה המסיבית של בניינים שאנו חווים כעת בעיר, נועדה להקים בניינים עמידים בפני אסונות טבע כמו רעידות אדמה ואסונות מעשי ידי אדם כמו מלחמות. תהליכי הבניה והמחיקה הקיצוניים שהעיר עוברת חושפים לפנינו עיר חדשה, ומעוררים שאלות על חוסן סביבתי, תרבותי וחברתי.

.במהלך הסיור נבקר בבניין מפונה המיועד להריסה ונתבונן בחומרים וברכיבי הבנייה כמקור פוטנציאלי לשימוש חוזר באמצעות פירוק במקום הריסה.

הסיור נערך במסגרת התערוכה "חומרים משמרים: פרק א'", ומבקש לבחון את הקשר בין שימוש חוזר ברכיבי בניין לבין חוסן עירוני דרך נקודת המבט של חומר וזיכרון, תוך קריאה לפעולה ציבורית לשימור החומרים והמורשת הנעלמים של העיר.

סברינה צגלה נמנית עם מייסדי בית ליבלינג מאז 2015. היא אוצרת בכירה ומנהלת תוכנית הרזידנסי בבית ליבלינג. פרקטיקת האוצרות שלה מדגישה חקירות רב-תחומיות וביקורתיות של הסביבה הבנויה, פרקטיקות אדריכליות ומורשת לנוכח אתגרים מקומיים וגלובליים. בעלת תואר ראשון באדריכלות ותואר שני (בהצטיינות) בהיסטוריה ותיאוריה של האדריכלות מאוניברסיטת תל אביב.

ליהיא ברגר, מעצבת

ליהיא ברגר היא מעצבת בין-תחומית ויוצרת המשלבת עיצוב, אמנות, תיעוד ומחקר.  מתמקדת בחשיפת הערך של היבטים קיימים בסביבה, שאנחנו נוטים להזניח. בעבודותיה הנוכחיות  חוקרת את הריסת הסביבה הבנויה בתל אביב מנקודות מבט אמנותיות וסביבתיות, ועבודותיה מוצגות במקומות שונים ברחבי העיר.  בוגרת המחלקה לעיצוב תעשייתי, בצלאל, האקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב, ירושלים.

תוכנית האירוע:

האירוע במסגרת כנס בן ארבעה ימים, "מתרגלים חוסן עירוני", אירוע לווין של The New European Bauhaus Festival המאורגן על-ידי Liebling Haus LAB בשיתוף Space 3426 ו-רדיקל.

Matters of Conservation: Urban Mining Tour

In this walk we look at the accelerated renewal process Tel Aviv is undergoing. The massive demolition of buildings is taking place, aiming to create a resilient city with new buildings designed to withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes as well as the threats of war by  integrating bomb shelters in them. As the city undergoes these extreme erasure processes a new city emerges in its place, and with it questions of environmental, cultural and social resilience.

During this walk, we will be visiting an evacuated building intended for destruction, looking at the materials and building elements composting it as a potential resource for re-use exploring the idea of dismantling rather than demolition.

The walk is part of the exhibition ‘Matters of conservation: part 1’,and wishes to explore the connection between re-use of building elements and resilience through the perspective of matter and memory, calling for an ongoing public action to conserve the city's disappearing materials and built heritage.

Arch. Sabrina Cegla, Senior curator of the Liebling Haus

Sabrina Cegla, a part of the founding team since 2015,  is a Senior Curator and Director of the Residency Program at the Liebling Haus. Her curatorial practice emphasizes multidisciplinary, experimental, and critical investigations of the built environment, architectural practices, and heritage, in light of both local and global challenges. Cegla earned her Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a Master's degree with honors in the History and Theory of Architecture from Tel Aviv University.

Lihi Berger, Designer

Lihi Berger is an interdisciplinary designer and creator who integrates design, art, documentation, and research. Lihi focuses on uncovering the value in the existing, often overlooked aspects of our surroundings. In her recent works, she examines the demolition of the built environment in Tel Aviv from artistic and environmental perspectives, with her works displayed in several locations across the city. She is a graduate of the Industrial Design Department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.

Registration and ticket sale in advance: The ticket costs 60 ILS. There are limited places available. Please note that participation is at your own risk. You are obliged to sign a legal document before the start of the event stating that you are participating at your own risk.

The meeting point is David HaMelech Blvd 1, Tel Aviv-Yafo. Please wear closed shoes for walking.
