Handbooks: A Decade of Contemporary Book Design

The exhibition "Handbooks" welcomes visitors to explore the realm of book design, showcasing the creation and development of visual information systems. It features around 50 handbooks designed by students from the Shenkar School of Visual Communication over the last ten years.

Plant guides, butterfly guides, addiction guides, or structure guides – the exhibition "Handbooks" invites visitors into the world of book design and introduces them to the complexity and beauty inherent in the visual formulation of intricate visual information systems. The exhibition displays around 50 handbooks created by students as part of the Typography course during their second year at the Shenkar School of Visual Communication over the past decade. Each builds a complete world—real or imaginary—carefully cataloged and designed, offering a fresh visual interpretation of content drawn from the personal realms of the designers.
