Artist Workshop: "Wind Mobile" | Dana Cohen

In this workshop, participants will create sculptural mobiles from nets and materials found in urban and natural environments, inspired by *Echoes of Fields* by Dana Cohen. The artwork, composed of greenhouse nets with remnants of knitted textile attached, explores relationships between material, movement, and space, as well as between nature, city, and time.

The workshop combines an introduction to the artwork with practical manual work involving connecting, tying, and movement. The starting point is the material language of the artwork and the stories that materials carry with them — place, labor, memory, and processes of change. Through the activity, we will examine the possibilities of transforming everyday remnants and materials into a poetic object that moves in the wind, as a tribute to the artwork and the ideas it raises, and as an invitation to consider the city as a living, sensitive, and growing space.

"Echoes of Fields" by the artist Dana Cohen is on view in the exhibition "Life, Plant, City: 100 Years of Geddes’ Plan for Tel Aviv’s Garden City" on the second floor of "Liebling Haus".

No prior experience is required.
