Water is the mysterious element responsible for the ultimate wonder; from it, life emerged as an ancient longing for something wishing to exist. Water went on to sculpt continents, found civilizations, shape cultures, drive ideas, and form languages, rituals, religions, sciences, and countless stories.
Our relationship with water has changed radically across eras and generations. It is a fascinating bond that tells a story of memory and forgetting, of remembering, and of cosmic forces at work in the world. Although the last two centuries boasted modern water engineering that altered the face of the planet, water seems to retain the final word. How? Why? What does the water say? We will discuss, reflect, and attempt to remember together.
