n honor of Tu BiShvat, we invite you to a unique tour of the exhibition “Life, Plant, City: 100 Years of Geddes' Plan for Tel Aviv's Garden City.” This tour offers an expanded perspective, a space for listening, and a conversation about urban growth, the interrelations between nature and humanity, and Tu BiShvat as a meeting point between tradition, sustainability, and the urban future.
The tour will feature an open dialogue with the exhibition’s artists, guided by the curators, and will focus on the connection between city, nature, and person as reflected in the works. The creators will present projects dealing with urban ecology, botany, agriculture, water, and living systems, as we learn how Patrick Geddes' ideas of the city as a living, breathing space find expression in contemporary art.
Led by:
Shira Levy Benyemini and Arch. Limor Yossifon-Goldman – curators of the exhibition “Life, Plant, City,” and Arch. Sabrina Cegla – curator of the exhibition “The Appendix: The Geddessian Hyperscraper” and the installation “Garden Warp Garden Weft.”
Duration: 1.5 hours
