In this workshop, we will create an alternative skyscraper and become planners of an imaginary "Hyperscraper," inspired by the exhibition "The Appendix: A Geddessian Hyperscraper."

First, each of us will imagine new types of life within our "hyperscraper" on a sketch of an empty structure: from hanging green gardens to playgrounds, markets, unique residences, and everything we dream of. We will illustrate everyday scenes using sketching, painting, and collage, and work with ready-made objects. Afterward, we will examine together what happens in the building from the street to the roof, creating a two-dimensional "hyperscraper" that tells a story about life on different floors. Finally, we will connect all the works into one collective skyscraper: a playful model through which we will learn how architecture can preserve local urban character and create a place for community, the environment, and dreams.

The workshop will take place with the assistance of the exhibition curator, Arch. Sabrina Cegla.

The workshop includes materials and requires no prior knowledge.

The activity is intended for ages 9-14; without parental accompaniment.
