In Meirav Heiman's video work "Fine," a family meal transforms into a chaotic and spectacular display of disintegration. As part of the "Open Houses" events, the Teper family featured in the film will emerge from the screen for a live performance, offering a fresh interpretation of the activities unfolding in their home. The family members will engage with the Café Lev space in a performance rooted in acrobatics, during which they will explore family relationships and space, crafting a choreography of domesticity that exists in a threshold state – between falling and rising.
The performance will last about 15 minutes and will be presented four times throughout the day. After the performance, the audience can view Meirav Heiman's video work in the Liebling Haus Project Room. The Teper family, consisting of parents Yaniv (45) and Adi (45) and children Or (14) and Ella (10), is a unique circus family in Israel. The parents have been professionally engaged in ground acrobatics, aerial acrobatics, acting, clowning, dancing, and more for many years, while the children have been part of the circus world even before they were born. The family performs at festivals, holiday stages, theaters, and private and corporate events in Israel and abroad.
The event is part of the exhibition "Fine" by artist Meirav Heiman, which is on show in the Liebling Haus Projects Room. Curator: Arch. Sabrina Cegla.
