Collage Workshop for Children | Shay Zilberman

A one-time collage workshop with artist Shay Zilberman, in which participants will create “leaf people” and fantastical creatures using natural textures gathered from the block gardens designed by Sir Patrick Geddes in Tel Aviv.

Participants will cut, paste, tear, fold, and paint a variety of organic motifs made from skeletal leaves—leaves that have undergone a long, manual process to reveal their plant skeletons. Leaves of this kind were used by the artist in the print series currently on view in the exhibition on the second floor of Liebling Haus.

Duration: 1 hour

This activity takes place as part of the Tu BiShvat events within the exhibition Life, Plant, City: 100 Years of Geddes’ Plan for Tel Aviv’s Garden City at Liebling Haus.
