A unique cultural event, now in its fourth year, showcasing the best of contemporary European literature. During times of crisis and war in Europe and Israel, we turn to literature and listen to stories of love in all its forms: family, romance, love of nature, divinity, and beyond.

European Night of Literature is a unique cultural evening celebrating the best of today’s European writing. This year’s theme is “Love.” We live in a time marked by crisis, war, and constant change—both in Europe and here in Israel. What can literature offer us in such a moment? A reminder of love in all its forms: romantic, familial, the love of nature, the divine, and beyond. Throughout the evening, popular Israeli actors will bring these stories to life by reading selected short works that showcase the richness and diversity of European voices. But literature is just the start. Join us also for an aperitivo with well-known Israeli writers, publishers, and illustrators, enjoy screenings of short films, and experience live music that will carry the spirit of the night even further.
