The 12th exhibition in the Liebling Haus Project Room presents a solo exhibition by Martin Visuok, "Like Home".
Visok contemplates the concept of home, presenting a collage that features the historic kitchen of the Liebling Haus, the only room that remains exactly as it was, recognizable from the building's past life as a residential apartment.
Visok does not merely document; his focus is on pausing the gaze and observing, while exposing layers of time and memory. In his creative process, he photographs and enlarges everyday details, painstakingly reassembling them. The result is a space where memory is unstable, continuously reconstructed through tiny details that transform into a new space.
Born in Argentina and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Visok explores the imagery of home and belonging, searching for meaning and soul within domestic spaces.
