In the workshop, we will utilize our most fundamental tool for understanding the world—our senses. Our bodies will act like cameras as we record and draw, moving from one place to another and altering the images we perceive. We will carefully observe our surroundings and the compositions we encounter, exploring how different textures and materials interact. We will then work with various materials in the studio and transform our observations into sculptures derived from our drawings, memory, and imagination.
During the workshop, we will closely examine ourselves, explore small details, and learn to see through others’ eyes, enhancing our perspective of the environment. This session aims to awaken a new sense of attentiveness and curiosity about the world around us and how it is perceived by others.
