works of Moti Ben Hurin
Ms. Sharon Golan-Yiron, the content manager of Beit Liebling, talks with the architect Michael Jacobson about the works of the architect Mordechai Ben-Horin who passed away in October 2020.
In his ninety years of life, Ben-Hurin planned countless Israeli projects and contributed greatly to shaping the local language. Ben-Hurin claimed that "you can build a great house for pennies", and while his extensive career included the design of about a thousand villas (including homes for Plato Sharon and Ehud Barak), Ben-Hurin lived in an old and modest house, which he testified that he designed in half an hour. He died while planning a residence.
