Palestine and the world of tomorrow

The Jewish-German architect Erich Mendelssohn worked in Palestine between 1934 and 1941, and left a deep mark on the country. His special sensitivity to the place and its old and new residents, and his attempt to seek a synthesis between East and West, will be at the center of the discussion in which Prof. Ita Hintz-Greenberg (Emerita ETH Zurich) and Prof. Alona Netzen-Shiptan, head of the Center for Architectural Heritage at the Technion, will participate. Facilitator: Sharon Golan-Yiron, content manager of Beit Liebling.

As a prelude to the event, we recommend watching the movie "Continuous Visions" (Doki Dror, 2011): https://vimeo.com/ondemand/1154
