חיים חדשים לבדים ישנים - סדנת מיחדוש טקסטיל / Textile Renewal Workshop

בגדים ומוצרי טקסטיל מתיישנים ויוצאים מכלל שימוש מכל  מיני סיבות - קרעים, כתמים, מידה לא נכונה, או סתם כי נמאס לנו מהם. הרצון להתחדש והתחושה הטובה שמעניקה לנו קניית פריטים חדשים הם טבעיים, אבל יש דרך  מוצלחת  יותר להתחדש, כזאת שמיטיבה עם הטבע: מיחדוש ( UPcycling).

בסדנת ״מיחדוש טקסטיל״ נעבד וניצור מחדש בדים אהובים וישנים, כאלה שנמצאים אצלנו בבית, מלאים בפוטנציאל. יחד נתקן, נשדרג, נחליף ייעוד ונעניק לטקסטיל חיים חדשים באמצעות התנסות בטכניקות מגוונות, ביניהן: רקמה, תפירה ידנית, תפירה במכונה, אריגה, תיקון חורים, עבודה עם טלאים. לרשות משתתפי ומשתתפות הסדנה יעמדו מגוון כלים הנמצאים בסטודיו בית הספר של העיר: מכונת תפירה, מגהץ, חוטי רקמה, מחטים ובדים.

הביאו איתכן.ם את מוצרי הטקסטיל שתרצו לעבוד איתם.

בהרשמה מראש באתר, מחיר כרטיס 30 ₪, כולל השתתפות בסדנה וחומרים. מספר המקומות מוגבל ל-. הסדנה מתקיימת במסגרת בית הספר של העיר בבית ליבלינג.

האירוע הינו חלק מכנס בן ארבעה ימים "מתרגלים חוסן עירוני",  אירוע לווין של The New European Bauhaus Festival  המאורגן על-ידי Liebling Haus LAB בשיתוף Space 3426 ו-רדיקל.

שותפים נוספים: בצלאל, אקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב, ירושלים; האוניברסיטה לאמנויות, המבורג; מרכז השל לקיימות; פורום האקלים הישראלי והמועצה הישראלית לבנייה ירוקה.

Together we would like to explore what circular material culture means during this day. What better way to start than by upcycling clothes in practice and learning how to turn old things into something special.

Clothes and textile products become obsolete and fall out of use in all kinds of ways - a tear, a stain, the wrong size or simply because we are tired of them. The desire to renew and the good feeling that buying a new item gives us is natural, but there is an even more successful option, one that also benefits nature: UPcycling.

In the "Textile Renewal" workshop we will process and re-create favorite and old fabrics, the ones we have at home, full of potential. Together we will repair, upgrade, change purpose and give textiles a new life by experimenting with diverse techniques such as: embroidery, hand sewing, machine sewing, weaving, repairing holes, working with patches and more. Workshop participants will have at their disposal a variety of tools found in the city's school studio such as: sewing machine, iron, embroidery threads, needles and fabrics. Bring with you the textile products you want to work with.

Yuli Maroz, Artist

A graduate of the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel and creator of the O peel brand, Yuli Maroz designs, explores and develops a thought process through the disassembly and reassembly of living materials such as fruit bowls; she creates art and design details of new value and conducts workshops. Registration and ticket sale in advance: The ticket costs 30 ILS. There are limited places available.

The workshop is part of the SCHOOL OF THE CITY from Liebling Haus.

The building has a shelter.
