Rokas Mikšiūnas was born and raised in Vilnius. From early on he was fascinated by the interwar modernist architecture of the city of Kaunas. Inspired by famous interwar architects such as Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, he began taking pictures of modernist heritage monuments in Italy, Israel, Spain and elsewhere. He has been volunteering at the Open House Vilnius architectural festival for three years in a row and oversees organizing architecture tours. His attention to detail saw him easily mastering the craft of creating Lego models of various buildings.
