Performative Tour – It Will Walk Itself Off

Alongside the exhibition "The Good Stones", Daniel Al-Hasid will hold a series of performative tours of the urban space, which will raise questions about the narrative of the place. Through the action of the tour, Al-Hasid creates a conflict in the guide between the hegemonic story about the place and the personal story, between revelation and concealment and between truth and fiction. She asks, what does the tour operation in the urban space mean? What is the role of the instructor and to what "truth" is she committed? On the tour, the guide is drawn to a truth different from the historical one, to a truth that is anchored in the personal experience and hidden from the eye.
